Puppies and Bears

I used the rcvfd web site for this puppy we found, but saw no way to add the pictures I took of her.
I heard her crying and found her by the flatbed truck we park in the upper driveway. (Buckhorn Road)
She had covered herself in cockleburs, to the point of misery. We've gotten most of them out.

A bear was photographed breaking into a cabin in the Moody Park Ranch Subdivision. This is an occasional issue which most of us know how to handle as long as we're not home. In this case, however, it appears that the bear appeared to be injured. Its left rear leg was bent at a strange angle and it appeared that something may have happened to it on its rear right quarter section. Bottom line, treat it as a wounded animal and keep your distance.
