Fire Ban in Effect

Larimer County has implemented Stage 1 Fire restrictions throughout Larimer County as of noon on July 3rd. These restrictions are set to expire on August 3rd unless conditions change.

This means there are now restrictions on open fires and fireworks.

If you have questions, check out the full resolution at the Larimer County Website.

Please be diligent about controlling sources of ignition - although we have had some rain, not every area has gotten significant moisture.

Thanks & Adios, CJD

Lost Dog

Hi, my dog got out around 11 am this morning and hasn’t been seen since. We live near whale rock, and I don’t know which direction she went. Her name is Ruth and she is a golden retriever great Pyrenees mix (large white dog). If anyone sees her can they call me at either (970) 492-5715 or (970) 310-3896.

Thanks!
Cassidy Page

My dog ran away while visiting my friend just SW of the Buckhorn/Stove Prairie cut-off. She's very sweet and timid, and will typically be phobic towards males. She's been out in the cold since 17 March, and I'd appreciate any information, as well as reward her return. She was seen running in the area multiple times, but hasn't responded to calls, and continues to evade. She's likely frantically trying to find me, but lost and scared. She loves fetch, so that might be a way to gain trust! TYVM for your care.
